The same kind of sewage sludge is used extensively as agricultural fertilizer. A lot of people protest this, including neighbors due to the run-off. Why haven't the scientists and administrators of the EPA and HHS determined that this is not healthy and prohibited the practice.

Instead, we see people and communities engaged in court battles to stop the practice, and local Departments of Environmental Protection and state politicians supporting the polluters.
