In 1993, Michelle Obama "voluntarily" put her law license on inactive status. Does anyone know why?
I heard there was an "issue" and it was either she do it voluntarily or they suspend her. Anybody know the details? I also heard that Barack doesn't have his license either.

Michelle Obama said that for the first time in her adult life, she is proud of her country. John McCain has said in an interview that he never loved his country until he was kept apart from it. I don't think it's right to attack either candidate for saying those things but for some reason people Michelle Obama's comment is being focused on. How come John McCains comments are not focused on if people want to make a big deal out of this stuff?

By saying that is racist, by implication you are saying that black women are similar to gorillas which is false. There are many beautiful black women out there like Beyonce, Halle Berry (c. 1992) and Tyra Banks (-20 lbs). Michelle Obama on the other hand happens to look a lot like a hairless gorilla.

Only during the broadcast of Nightline (Dallas-Central Time) does Michelle Obama's picture (looks like the tail end of a PSA commercial) appear briefly and it's always at the end of a commercial before Nightline's broadcast starts up again. One can't help but muse that it's a subliminal tactic.

What do you think of the hug given by Michelle Obama to Her Majesty, Queen of England ?
Is not Michelle Obama taking the same attitudes as ordinary people play on talk shows on cheap television ? They kiss to say hello between them and they don`t know each other. They don`t know each other but they embrace to each other and they act out of any cannon. Is she having the same attitudes simple people play on talk shows and ordinary tv programs when she visits the Queen and other personalities ?

I watched the debate and at the end when the candidates wives came to see the audience, I could not help feeling that Michelle Obama either felt uneasy, or tense, or somewhat artificial. Was she wearing a dress she did not feel comfortable with, or was it the audience? What do you think? And I am not trying to "smear" or unfairly criticize her, but just look at other people there and look at her and see the tension - even Barack Obama did not look that artificial and he was quite confident during and after the debate.

Michelle Obama has commercials telling everyone to donate to the Red Cross for Haiti. Barack has also asked us to give to Haiti. How much have they personally given?

I use the Obama's because they have given such a small percentage of their income to charity in the past. The same apply to Bush and Clinton who are also asking people to donate.

It is my understanding that most of the hard work done to build the White House was done by slave labor.

How many of these slaves do you think Michelle Obama and her two daughters are related to?

Since President-Elect Obama's father came from Kenya, he isn't related to this same group of slaves like Michelle probably is.
