According to the New York Times this morning, the voting records of Hillary and Obama in the Senate were not that different. Plus, their policy differences during the primaries are limited. When is Obama going to start to change his mirror image of Hillary?

Even if both candidates are still competing for the nomination?
Let the fight then go underground, and Hillary and Obama should unite to go after McCain together. This will force McCain to compete against two candidates, and force the repub attack machine to try and go after two candidates, greatly undermining both.
Having two democrats competing for the nomination up until the convention could be turned into an asset, instead of a negative. Hillary and Obama working together would unite the party, and a reasonable solution could be agreed upon by the time of the convention.
