@general333333 US Presidents have been using teleprompters for half a century. Just sayin.

Republican Congress thinks they can blame Obama to get away with not doing their job for political positioning, not to mention, it works because they wont do their job. and nobody holds them accountable. all the republikkkrats back room deals are about hidden agendas denying Americans the opportunity to stop their big gop corp govt kickback deals on everyones backs from the ground up.

  3. Raelsatu says:

@donnyforte2 Define the language correctly? Congress itself is enraged at Obamas actions, and if anything, THAT is truly pushing the limits. In-case you didn’t know our “defense” budget for fiscal 2011 is around 700 billion; the same goes for 2012. In my opinion that is a FAILURE on multiple levels. On top of that Obama made a speech in 2002 in opposition to rash, dumb wars; and now he’s on the complete opposite end of the spectrum with a disastrous foreign policy that defends war at OUR cost.

I like how the President is taking more time from running the country to serve as assistant basketball coach for his daughter’s team. Should US Presidents be allowed to raise young children while serving as Commander in Chief?

  5. Raelsatu says:

@donnyforte2 I find it an insult to logic how Obama can justify the war on the pretext that it’s “humanitarian aid”; and that we haven’t deployed ground troops [yet]. NATO is now mentioning doing just that, and we’re supposed to have ground troops down by September/October. This is not humanitarian, YES it is hostile; we’re directly bombing special needs schools, universities, hospitals, and residential areas; tell me HOW is that not hostile? Google Nasser University and tell me otherwise.

@HHBeasley Don’t forget the fathers who are risking life & limb in Afghanistan & Iraq. God Bless them as well. May Jesus Christ forgive all those who have nothing but hatred for our President Obama.

  7. bsharker says:

Thomas Jefferson, a Founding Father would backhand Obama given the chance.

“If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.”

  8. TimelordR says:

@AnnAAngel1564 Tea Party militants makes Jesus cry tears of blood.

  9. donnyforte2 says:

@Raelsatu Congress is trying to play catch-up after their disastrous handling and allowance of the Iraq War. And there’s nothing to even suggest Congress wouldn’t have allowed action if asked. This ploy has nothing to do with “ending wars altogether”, but they do have every right to challenge spending and challenge our continued support for what should’ve been Europe’s (and Canada’s) war. This is why Def. Secretary Gates warned NATO that our Congress wasn’t likely to put up with this much longer

  10. donnyforte2 says:

@Raelsatu “The blunt reality is that there will be dwindling appetite and patience in the U.S. Congress — and in the American body politic writ large — to expend increasingly precious funds on behalf of nations that are apparently unwilling to devote the necessary resources or make the necessary changes to be serious and capable partners in their own defense.” – Defense Secretary Gates

Your Defense Secretary doesn’t say stuff like this if you’re going to ‘put troops on the ground’ in Libya.

  11. general333333 says:

@donnyforte2 Of course, but people pretend he does not and if you notice during public speeches (without a teleprompter), he can barely put a sentence together without saying “uh”.

  12. Raelsatu says:

@donnyforte2 Beating around the issue at hand doesn’t make it any less of a disaster than it already is. Congress put aside, Obama is proving to be nothing more than a tool of the corporate elite and supporter of the NWO. I don’t think that this can be any more clear by the fact that he’s perpetuating wars through the very entangling alliances Thomas Jefferson warned us about; and feels compelled to abide by NATO and the UNs best interest rather that the interest of his own country.

  13. donnyforte2 says:

@general333333 “Uh”, okay? Every president reads from something… If your only grudge is using a “teleprompter” to his advantage, much like any prepared speech from any president since George Washington, you need to get your priorities straight.

  14. SteveXnycperformance says:

HAPPY FARTER DAY ….Obama was FART into the world..look at all the shit stain on his skin.

  15. Animosity2UandU says:

@donnyforte2 I guess he doesn’t have the birth certificate thing to obsess over anymore ….

  16. braidedgirl says:

Happy Fathers Day President Obama!! Wonderful thank you for sharing!!

  17. donnyforte2 says:

@Raelsatu NWO? I’m not going to get into this bs.

Not much has changed since Jefferson… Jefferson himself had his own little foreign war with North African pirates. His actions are one of the reasons we started getting into international affairs. And this was our first international war… That’s not to say that Europe didn’t dominate the region with imperialism, but his actions led as an example of what was to come.

  18. deawlopes says:

@Sterlng Good! Think about it! Because our responsibility to future generations is precisely to give good education to our children is not it? Someone might think, but I’m not here …. Well, the life expectancy of just stretching … Who knows if it will be?? Hug and everything nice. And have a good life and a good family.

  19. crib1981 says:

Happy Fathers Day to all fathers, acting fathers and fathers of all kind. HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!

  20. Raelsatu says:

@donnyforte2 You keep avoiding the points I’m bringing up about the unconstitutional, and immoral aspects of our current foreign policy. Obama is a liar, plain and simple. The Libyan invasion is not justified, I don’t care if you or NATO says otherwise. Bombing schools and hospitals is not humanitarian. Signing the Patriot Act is not patriotic AT ALL, it’s actually the complete opposite. Spending trillions of dollars on wars and nation building under the guise of fighting terrorism is not ok.

  21. general333333 says:

@donnyforte2 at least other presidents can put together sentences…

  22. donnyforte2 says:

@Raelsatu Because a lot of your “points” are contradicting. You bring up things like Thomas Jefferson and he’s the reason we got into international affairs and a war to boot (by the way, Congress didn’t vote for this war either). All in all, this is relatively boring conversation.

  23. donnyforte2 says:

@general333333 The “public speaking” aspect of any president is relatively trivial to me, it’s more about their actions, but whatever floats your boat…

  24. Raelsatu says:

@donnyforte2 I was hesitant to mention Jefferson for exactly the reason you’ve presented, but it really doesn’t matter with what I’m trying to say. All my points are valid and rational, and so far you haven’t really said anything that counters. This conversation isn’t supposed to be interesting, but it’s to make you think about how you’re defending Obama based on false pretenses; you’ve been tricked into believing in a professional demagogue, which is the case with alot of Americans nowadays.

  25. donnyforte2 says:

@Raelsatu “you’ve been tricked into believing in a professional demagogue”
You’ve failed to accurately defend your line of reasoning. I never said I agreed with war. I disagreed with your view of history and your assertions. WIthout the substance, your talking points don’t equate to much.
