@SGhockeychika4 Are you aware that Social Security had a 2.5 trillion surplus until we borrowed it to pay for other stuff? I expect you to remain ignorant of this because admitting it would prove much of what you say to be wrong.
@SGhockeychika4 Well most Canadians disagree with you and are overall happy with Canadian health care. I’m sure hardly any of them want to depend on private profit based health insurance and pay a higher GDP for health care compared to what they pay now.
There’s no way you’re going to claim that Canadians want to go to a system where many of them will have to sell their house or go bankrupt to pay their medical bills, which is what’s going on in the US.

@Scipio2021 Actually know I won’t. I believe Health Care is a privilege, just like a house, car, etc. The only thing I believe is a right is air, natural food (not junk or processed food), and what is listed in the Constitution of the United States. Health Care is not a right. My father who has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis even thinks Health Care is a privilege. Do I think there needs to be serious changes made in our current system… YES.
@Scipio2021 I think someone who is willing to pay for their health care should be turned away because of a pre-existing condition. I do believe all children deserve health care. However, not adults. When there are many people who abuse the American tax payers (AND YES THERE ARE MANY), why should they be given anything free. When anyone has access to free food, free housing, and free health care, what else is there to work for? Oh yeah, nothing. America has become such a nanny state, it’s sad.
@Scipio2021 Also when I was talking about most American’s supporting Ryan’s budget, I meant people who have actually HEARD and KNOW what is in the budget. Want proof? Just watch Frank Luntz’s focus group that was aired this past week on Hannity when Paul Ryan was on. The focus group is a group full of everyday, normal, hard-working Americans. There are Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. While someone is talking the group as controllers.
@Scipio2021 When they hear something they like they push the up arrow and the party lines connected to their controllers moves up. When they hear something that they don’t like, vise versa, and the lines move down. When Ryan was speaking directly to (in front) of the group and was actually explaining what was in the budget all the lines were moving up. Even the Democratic line was moving up. People like his budget. Like any bill you should read it first before making a decision and voting on it.
@Scipio2021 You can’t just listen to the liberal news media (primarily MSNBC) and liberal Democrats bashing it to making a decisions. That’s why this country is in so much deep shit, because voters have been spoon fed for so many years instead of actually paying attention and finding out information for themselves.
@SGhockeychika4 What you said about the media applies to the Iraq war big time. If more Americans were informed, and the media did it’s job, we would have never invaded Iraq, had all those deaths (on both sides) and never had to borrow a trillion plus dollars.
@SGhockeychika4 You failed to show an opinion poll or any sort of proof that most Americans agree with Ryan’s plan. There are polls regarding this out there. You chose to not look at them on purpose and remain ignorant. If you had knowledge of these polls, you would know that you’re wrong.

If you watched more news outlets and became a little more well-rounded about what’s going on you would have seen it yourself. He actually had Ryan in the room with the voters. And duh you stupid shit there are cases of emergencies where EVERYONE has to be admitted, even non-citizens. I’m fine with paying tax dollars towards that. You do know about the child who is dying, but their parents want to continue treatment, but the GOVERNMENT is not intervening and wants to let the child DIE because of OBAMACARE. Hello my dad can barely afford his payments for his MS medicine, and he DOES NOT WANT Obamacare. Though I don’t like the Canadian system, I would gladly take it over Obamacare. I would even take Australia’s over Obamacare.
@Scipio2021 Obamacare is a total bullshit bill that is 2,000 pages long. It’s filled with earmarks and waivers. Why would Anthony Weiner, who was so supportive of this bill, now want his state to be wavered out of it?? Obama and the Democrats didn’t read this whole bill before they passed it. Cost have sky rocketed and will continue to do so. Pelosi was even dumb enough to say “we have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it.” That’s like saying I need to take a test to find out what’s on it.

@Scipio2021 Haha I guess that’s why I said I’m an Independent. Any poll taken is accurate at different times. Every poll has real people going in and voting yes, no, etc for something they are for. You just asked what poll says people support Ryan’s plan and I explained it to you. I will still try to look for it. Also I don’t just watch Hannity. I also watch Chris Matthews. I like both of them, because they actually ask real questions.
