President Obama really did save our auto industry if it wasn’t for the bailout. Killing Bin Laden was a major highlight of his presidency. Fox News is known for its false reports, but some Republican supporters still get brain washed from Fox News. The 2012 Republican Hopefuls have no idea what they’re talking about and all they can do is bash President Obama, but that’s not going to help them win the American people votes. @dsjj251 he supported protecting oil company subsidies, and his reason was exactly that – vote for ANY tax cut, because he wants less taxes. no priorities or fair incremental change. just vote for em all, even if it’s only the rich who get them. that’s irresponsible and childish thinking, and yes, it is incredible.

CBS News: The latest posting by the Treasury Department on Tuesday Aug. 23, 2011, shows the national debt has now increased over $4 trillion on President Obama‘s watch.
The debt was $10.626 trillion on the day Mr. Obama took office. The latest calculation from Treasury shows the debt has now hit $14.639 trillion.
It’s the most rapid increase in the debt under any U.S. president.
The Gross National Debt now stands at 97.6% of the nation’s Gross Domestic Product.

@dsjj251 I think he ment: as long as there exist a a tax, a subsidy is really a tax reduction, which is why he voted for keeping them.
The mature thing to do: 1st go after oil company, coal and all crap that is harmful- subsidies whether a tax exist or not. Then last and only if: remove the subsidies that makes sense: green tech. Which is also a bad idea, but at least a respectable position if he gets his priorities right and go about tax reduction in a responsible manner.
@hopeurforfreedom A university in Southern California just conducted a study that shows NO CORRELATION WITH MARIJUANA USE AND LONG TERM MEMORY LOSS. The only thing it found was some short term memory loss, that went away within a week of quitting smoking. You would know this if you actually researched what your talking about. As I said, all the old wives tales and boogie man stories are falling apart. Weed is harmless, and the prohibition of it is senseless.

@inso99 Ethanol production has created a dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico due to fertilizer runoff into the Mississippi river. Corn price increases have caused riots in parts of the world because they are using corn for fuel instead of for food. Nothing green about green energy. Natural gas is the future, not moronic green fuel….
