Mr. Obama is beeing yelled at by some. On Internet he gets racist remarks. He arranged that America (and the world) overcame the banking credit crunch, seeks a way out of 2 wars, arranged for all americans to have some decent health care. And still he tries to unite parties for the sake of the country. he even does not point his finger to the Rep’s to blame them (although we know they are to be). Obama focusses on the interests of America and not on own pol. gain

2) I could well imagine the Dem’s were not able to present a budget, because of all financial programs to stimulate the economy that were gooing on at the time as well as the costs of the 2 wars Obama inherited form GWB. But if you have another serious explanation, I’ll be glad to hear it.

@Change6609 This reveals the genius of not creating a budget for 2 years. It held out “Hope” that we would eventually deal. Appointing a debt commission suggested Hope in dealing…but Obama didn’t go with their recommendations. Pnly pining for more spending..then leading from behind on cutting..i.e schizo. Without the Hope, we have this Change.
Obama is just one man, to blaming him is ignorant, you must blame the bigger issue of the current status quo in the american political system.

I BELIVE THAT :
1. THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO BE RUN UNDER LIBERTARIAN VALUES.
2. STATE GOVERNMENT SHOULD BE RUN WITH A HYBRID DEM AND REP VALUES
3. COUNTIES AND CITIES SHOULD BE RUN UNDER PROGRESSIVE or CONSERVATIVE VALUES as wanted.
@commonman80 – Obama praises Reagan for just that reason- he was a borrow and spend president! Obama is a statist that truly believes in big government, and making his own laws, and when bush made a power grab, Obama probably got an erection! He has no intention of turning the ship around. He doesn’t see a problem with adding ten or even 100 trillion to the debt. The problem is that sooner or later we will hit a natural limit where investors get jittery.. and perhaps we already have.

If he is not in control then it is his duty to tell the people the truth about their situation, otherwise he would be breaking his oath.
