Now factor in that it takes 20-25 years to see a return on the capital (money spent) building the solar infrastructure. Now factor in that solar panels have a life span of about 20-30 years TOPS. You’ll be lucky to break even on them. Nuclear power isn’t the monster you think it is do some research on it.

Nuclear Fusion is something the USA is heavily invested in (it’s different then nuclear Fission). It has huge potential the problem is they can’t sustain the nuclear fusion. Even if they find a way to sustain nuclear fusion that doesn’t mean it will produce a surplus of energy. Nuclear Fission power plants are the cleanest safest
@amyalewine most reliable sound investment the USA can make. There is a reason China is building so many of them. Hydroelectric would be another good investment but we can’t build/invest in any of these because of environmental idiots who want us to live like cavemen. Look up Nuclear Power and you will find that 3 mile island wasn’t a disaster and was caused by human error (that wont happen now because of computers). It also didn’t release ANY radioactive material into it surrounding environment
