Bush added 4.4 Trillion $ to the debt+ Obama 4.1 Trillion $ to the debt=8.5 Trillion $ in 10 years 3 months.

dont forget, when obama talks about “cuts”, it actually means increase to the deficit since deficit just keeps growing.
@TheWatchmen2020 That’s largely what this should be about: revenue. Stop giving huge tax breaks to the super rich and providing subsides and loopholes to corporations that send jobs overseas.
People WANT Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. Republicans HATE those programs, and have tried to end them every chance they get. They took a ballanced budget and cut taxes, knowing that 8 years later we would be “broke” and they would have more leverage to cut these programs, paid for by the taxes.
Noone likes taxes. But its easier for people making over $250k to pay a little more than someone making $30k.
Reagan and GW Bush have tried giving $ to the rich, it simply doesnt work.
End the Bush tax cuts for the super rich.
Close loopholes for corporations and stop giving subsidies to companies that don’t need them.
Cut up the defense budget (big time) once we’re out of Iraq at the end of the year.
