What effects did/do those speeches have on humanity even if they were written by others. The fact is that President Obama presented/presents and will continue to present those speech as they were/are meant to be. It’s no small matter what is occurring here – irrespective of one’s political alliances. it cannot be denied that we finally have a leader with remarkable presence, elegance, and class who will always represent us well. That Lincoln quote (a fave mine) is so apt in describing his conduct as President.
Too many similarities to realy unearth the differences we face as free nations against the world outside and the one on the inner which barely reaches the surface. it’s hard to tell how deep those affections are and how far they strecthed on both sides of the atlantic. If only we knew what gets said in private behind the corridors of what seems like a jousting tourament for allies only. maybe we already know, but i’m still bemused by what this special relationship, really entails.
