You go girl. Write that letter and send it. Tell them how you feel. Especially how they have inspired you. And I bet they answer your letter. And your parents will be overjoyed. Remember, inspiration is a wonderful, contagius thing.

yeah you can try and don’t forget to ask if he can bailout you

You don’t have to tell them, no. You could achieve your dreams before Mr and Mrs Obama, you just have to work hard and try your best at everything you do. I am sure they will appreciate the sentiment, but you don’t need anyone else to believe in yourself!

For something like this, I’d just send it. You might get something cool like an autographed photo. But don’t start sending letters to weird people or people you meet on the internet.

I commend you for being involved at such an early age!

The Obamas have inspired many, and I’m sure they enjoy hearing how they have touched hearts all over the world.

It doesn’t sound like your parents would object to the letter, maybe they’re just cynical about politics.

    Peace. Now.

No, no reason you have to tell them unless they’ve told you you have to tell them! You’ll probably get a nice reply, if not from them, but from someone on their staff. It can take a while though, at least that’s been my experience when I’ve written other presidents.

why would you have to .

what they don’t know won’t hurt them.

Unless you need to get a stamp from them, there’s no reason you have to tell them. Just send the letters. But understand that they get a lot of correspondence so hearing back from them might take a while and probably be a response from a secretary.
