Lots of those other countries with nationalized health care are actually bouncing back faster than the United States. The whole world got economically hit, but western europe and japan are recovering faster than we are.
By having health care coverage for all their citizens they have a healthier workforce and (especially with the auto companies) they don’t have to worry about adding health care costs into their workers’ salaries so they are better able to compete globally.
but you must also keep in mind they are countries with native citizens, they dont have the ghetto blacks and mexicans and the illegals and liberals who sit at home all day smoking pot or watching tv, their people actually have a certain idea of responsibility and patriotism, america on the other hand promotes laziness and blaming your faults on your neighbor, we here have this sense of self entitlement and nationalized healthcare would only perpetuate it…
think of it like this, its not efficient to put unleaded gas in a big diesel engine right, even though that unleaded gas works for the little honda car it wount work so well for the big ford truck, both cars serve the same purpose but they are powered by two totally different means, much like our country and other countries, we are both looking to fix the high costs of health care, but to simply just emulate another countries method would be foolish, like i said before, consider the people

He said during his debate with McCain to look at the people he surrounds himself with, those were HIS words. Medicare denies 75% of all claims filed. 20% of all VA claims are denied. If you were to combine the claims of all 1400 private health insurance companies in the US and add the number that are denied you would barely have 5% being denied, so who is it that is being greedy?

you may have read the cliff notes but you didn’t understand it. The difference is words that have the same fundamental meaning, that is all. To put it in terms you will more easily understand public option vs. consumer option; they mean the same thing but the words sound different. That is the only difference between marxist and a socialist system. They even more in common in thier large scale failures. without hong kong china would have transformed shortly after the ussr.
Really because I was under the impression that Socialism meant the communal ownership of production and distrubution and Communism meant the communal ownership of all property. Also I had heard somewhere that the Oneida Community was a socialist community started in the US that still trades on the stock market today. I also saw somewhere that a bunch of workers who were laid off started a company they all share ownership of making them socialists.
I had also heard somewhere that even prior to Obama the US had many social programs and had many allies that are considered democratic socialist with mixed economies. (E.g., France, Britain, Germany, Japan) Lay off the Glenn Beck my friend socialism is a part of your everyday life, and it is nothing like communism.
