@OldTimerGuy58 The GOP goes on and on about job growth but their budget proposal would cut tens of thousands of federal jobs or federally funded jobs. The very last thing the economy needs [ although the March numbers re increased employment were quite strong]. They say nothing about reducing tax payer subsidies to big oil, big agra and a bloated military budget. They have no plans to reduce the budget by increasing taxes on the economic elites, the most obvious solution.
Really sorry if i seem rude, but i, definitively, think all those journalists here need deaf-aids. They already BEFORE had 30 minuts with THE PRESIDENT, DULY (as he knows how to..) explaining about that Budget Meeting. Until Minut 16 (half-Briefing), they asked 10 times the same thing, under different ways .. I PRAISE Freedom of The Press, but that is not Freedom, that’s near bullying.Period.

Fuc_ Repubs they want to protect the rich and scrap the poor. Our ideals are the help the world not line the pockets of the well to do or even someone with a job. Why give to Africa why give to the food shelves? Soup lines huh? If you have some tithing is necessary to pave the way to God. I’m not a Bible thumper but it and others make sense. @BartvG88 Many, many people have been found guilty and been sentenced to prison and even death, for very serious crimes in cases which no-one ever knew the reason(s) why the crimes were committed. Just because you don’t know why the crimes were committed does not mean that the crimes could not have been committed. We are told that the crimes were committed because the perpetrators hate freedom and all it stands for, but that doesn’t make any sense because they want to be free, themselves.

The government should be separated into three branches – legislative, executive, and judicial. Articles I, II, and III of the Constitution create this beautiful separation of powers to prevent the tyranny of consolidated government. A system of checks and balances should be adopted to prevent the abuse of power. This constitutional system of pitting human nature against human nature by checking each other’s power is pure genius.

@OldTimerGuy58 The Americans think that Obama and the whole Democratic party’s at fault for not fixing the economy fast enough. They voted Republicans to see if they fix it faster…well, we got our wish. And now, we made a HUGE mistake of putting them in, in the first place. You can thank the former President, George W. Bush, for starting the mess, in the first place!
I am tired of having a Capitulator in Chief. Why should we vote for someone who is only centrist if the scale consists of right wing and extreme right wing? We did not vote for this! I hate that I do not have a progressive choice for the next election. My choices are seemingly coming down to Moderate Republican (incumbent) and at the very least, not so Moderate Republican (whoever gets nominated). Where is the President of Change? Where is the Progressive President we thought we had?
