    Reviewer: Amanda Junce,
I was hoping for a book that contained all of the critical speeches of Barack Obama, without including every single speech. This book is the perfect collection of select speeches. Obama's most famous speeches are here, including the Father's Day speech, the Inaugural Address, the Berlin speech, the speech from Grant Park (where Oprah was in the audience), and several more poignant moments for our country's history.

Whether or not you support Barack Obama, no one can deny how powerful his speeches have been to move and unite our nation. This is a great source of inspiration and an important book in history.
    Brilliant collection

If you are looking for a collection of Barack Obama speeches, there is no shortage of books available. I like this one because of the nice color and the speeches that are included. The description on Amazon is accurate and gives a good idea of what to expect. If you missed any of his key speeches, or just want to have a permanent record of his inspirational words, this is a great collection. Because his speeches will go down in history, this particular book of speeches will always be relevant and timely.
If you buy only one book this year...

Anyone who supported Obama or who is following current events/politics needs to own this book. This assembly of speeches is a great collection and story of American history.

Our president has been handed a difficult task, and we as Americans, should do our best to support his efforts. In this volume, you'll find speeches from the campaign, several election night speeches, the inaugural, and the economic speech given soon after he was elected.

To stay positive and supportive of the cause that is our country, read this book to be reminded of the hope and change we all need to believe in.

Like other historic figures and great speakers - John F Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Winston Churchill, FDR - to name a few, Barack Obama's words transcend language.

His speeches have inspired not only the citizens of our country, but they have inspired the rest of the world.

Obama's words will be remembered long after his days as president are behind him because they are so much more than campaign speeches.

They are words of wisdom and deep vision - the caliber of which only come around once in a generation.
