Write that letter. President and Mrs. Obama will want to see what you have on you mind, since you’ll be representing America’s 14 year olds. You are the future.

Well it really depends if you are black or white. If black the chances are EXTREMELY high. If your a white kid then you probably wont wake up in the morning.
Nah I was just kidding with ya. I sent in a letter to president Ronald Reagen and received a response with his signature. I still have it. I know pretty cool isn’t it?
But seriously send it in. They really do care what you have to say. They might not read it, but someone in there staff will and they might pass it on to them.
If it is well written, it will get read.
I know some one who sent a letter to George W. Bush, and they got a response back. Whether they actually read it, I don’t know. I would think that any famous person would not read the tons of fan mail they get. But the only way you can find out with Obama is to send him one and see if you get a response.
Send your letter. But be realistic. The President (whoever t may be) gets tens of thosuands of letters and e-mails each week. Because Obama has had such an inspiring effect on millions jsut as he and Michelle have had for yu, he’s going to be gettting even more than most presidents.
In general, his office willl have someone read and at least acknowledge your letter. Odds are that’s as far as it will get, simply because there are not enough hours in a day to read that much mail (and he does have to do other things!).
But your chances aren’t zero. Its routine for a public official to set up a system so that at least some of the best letters are sent to him to read and answer. If you are lucky, yours might be one of them. So go for it–nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I had a friend who wanted an autographed copy of a campaign poster of Barak. She got a letter saying give 100 dollars to our campain, and we’ll give you a copy.
She asked one from john mcain, and signed it for free.
Just wondering, as a 13 year old, who supports our troops, why in the heck do you want to send a letter to a dictator who disses our troops, who is anti-american as can be, AND who lies about having a forged birth certificate.
