What the country needs is a president that can get along with both sides. Obama’s 1st two years indicated that he would not even think about getting republicans involed in his agendas. He put republicans down at every opportunity like suggesting they can go along for the ride but only if they sit in the back. Yeah, he got the keys to the car, but no one checked to see if he had a drivers license or could even drive.

And yes, it is clear that this staged event was intended to bring the democratic party on board. He was smart enough to use the presence of former President Clinton to garner support from his party that loves Mr. Clinton. Mr. Obama is far from being shallow.

@manyara02 I actually liked Perot, but he was one sided, a president isn’t right on one issue, he is right on most issues, and sticks to his/her beliefs. Obama doesn’t, he is a president of popularity, he sides with what it best received by the masses.

@dlanieri Clinton is the only one you listed that didn’t create record deficits while president. I don’t know what your criteria for a good leader is. Two of those leaders said they would not raise taxes, then proceeded to raise them.

Our president scampers away not even halfway into the video, because of a Christmas party. As an American I take offense to that. This is an important debate and he can’t even speak for himself, so he gets Clinton to do that for him. If nothing else about this problem that we currently face clues you in to this debacle, let the not so irrelevant fact that our president isn’t even willing to talk to us anymore be the first of many revelations in the years to come.
