Gov doesn’t subsidize anything. Gov takes from those that have to give to itself and others. Theft of any kind cannot nor should it be justified by the ends it meets. That my friend is the basis of the problem with government. It justifies every thing it does by presenting the ends accomplished while covering up or denying the means by which those ends were met.

The wealth is highly concentrated ,while the rest of China is agrarian and below the world poverty levels. Their tech advances come in the form of reverse engineering and capital expenditures such as the Hummer deal. They have made a great leap with the hydro dam, the one benifit for the rural pop. What they have now is multiple Hong Kongs along the coast ,for the lucky few
This is the kind of program, that thrust Calif to the front in education. The program has to be diversified by job classification as to future needs, so it doesnt wind up like Calif. with more lawyers than clients Corps ,would be well advised to participate and create that much needed second step on ther ladder.Similar acredittion standards would also be a major key to a continual process of higher learning.

In my perhaps not so humble opinion I think the quote is quite telling and self explanatory. Rahm, as Chief of Staff of the current POTUS, seems to be saying “Let’s cause a ruckus so we can do questionable things with little to no backlash.”
