@bennickmom This only shows that Obama got very mad at direct insults at himself and others in his administration. Don’t you think our enemy knows that our whole country is divided? Everybody runs to their “party corner” and nothing gets accomplished. McChrystal is not a dummy, ask yourself why he knowingly committed career suicide.

The Afghan don’t care about or respect the puppet government in Kabul. They live in clans and are loyal to that alone. There is no bringing the clans together under one banner…some story book Brave Heart shit. Read about Alexander the Greats campaign, or Gangus Khans, or the Brittish, or the Russians….it’s not like we are the first ones to try this.

Civilian control of the military? What the hell is he talking about? How many times have you seen the military taking orders from civilians?
@igotthatsnowmayn Because it breaks all the rules of military courtesy, and is against Article 88 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). He broke the law(military), he broke the code,(Officer and a Gentleman), he broke the trust(Obama).
Big question is why would a great General commit career suicide in the way he did? Why now? Distraction?

Veterans deserve so much more than a Thank you.When they come home they get the worst medical services, have to fight for disability benefits, Often they don’t receive enough to support their Family. On top of that dealing with life outside the Military. Politicians seam to think you can flip a switch from Military to civilian.

@CommonSensePeter I have great hatred for a system that allows veterans who serve our country, and pay an enormous price, to be treated as second class citizens. They serve for a greater cause. This same system allows the politicians, who serve mostly themselves, get the best benefits and keep them for life. The men and families that REALLY serve our country and sacrifice so much, should get better than the politicians.
