@johnyapplesbob do you know that unemployment is not a government funded program. In order to receive unemployment you had to pay unemployment taxes while you work. So everybody that has a legal job is paying unemployment taxes every time they get paid. So please don’t lump unemployment in with the other programs that you speak of. The middle class creates jobs. The fact is the middle class makes up over 95% of the consumers in this country. The middle class consumer’s purchasing power dictates demand which is what leads to hiring. The top 5% may control most of the money but they can’t consume 95% of the goods and services in this country. Without demand no company is going to hire anyone based on what “might” happen.
