@CommonSenseJoe I’m sure the companies will find some other way to squeeze more money out of us like they always do. Maybe they’re just taking it in advance of being forced to take a 90% loss ratio (ie: 90 cents out of every dollar you pay them needs to go back into helping you)
@whitehouse thanks for this resource. I haven’t tried it yet, but I hope it lists whether people are eligible for medicare/medicaid as well under the new laws. If not, it probably should! Not knowing where to start is a serious hurdle to applying for those things, and this site makes it look a whole lot easier.

The IRS will be given the charge to see every American has “acceptable” health insurance. If your plan is not acceptable the IRS may be able to withhold your income tax return and or levy fines due to your non compliance. Everyone under the Obama plan will be required to purchase insurance.)
I found a free clinic really close to me using this search option on the site and made an apt. This will be the first time I’ve been able to take a doctors visit for a non emergency- I cant wait! Obama you have done more for us than any other president in my lifetime. Keep it up!
