Obonga and the liberals got their mandate, enacted all of their jobs bills, spent almost a trillion on stimuls projects all of which produced job growth equal to Argentina. Germany, Russia and the rest did not engage in similar out of control stimulus spending and they are growing at 9%. As to your claim of tax cuts, they were not, they were tax credits to losers.
