Live coverage of the Ohio State rally is being broadcasted NOW on Barack Obama’s website. Move it or lose it! Right now some of the preliminary speakers are speaking, but after all that is out of the way Michelle and Barack Obama will speak LIVE to the students from Ohio State University to infuse some energy into the base. A prayer is taking place right now as we speak! Move it or lose it Dems. We gotta have Barack’s back at the polls!!!!

@TheDailyConversation Amazing isn’t it the entitlement mentality of some of the right that post on democratic stump sites that feel they are entitled to crash parties, throw trash on someone else’ front porch, spam democratic sites, etc. etc. and then spout off about freedom and rights while they are trying to oppress and overpower anyone who does not agree with them.

  4. barsense says:

@lildwayne21 WTG, the security of liberty in this country is at stake, we need officials elected by the people to run this country because that gives the people a say. The right wants to let mega corps with foreign ownership run this country.

@theoneali We have a much better shot with democrats than we do with republicans and the democrats have done better with this recession which is much more severe than the recession under Reagan where unemployment went to 10.8 % and stayed at 10% for over 10 month. I do have to admit though that the strategy of the right to smear and attack with anything they could make up out of thin air that started before Obama was even inaugated has been effective unfortunately.

  6. zonie1953 says:

@barsense None of that was made up! You libs just dont like the truth. And you libs CAUSED the recession. Obama is owned by the unions that priced american labor out of reach.

  7. barsense says:

@zonie1953 No the recession was caused by republican policies that turned Wallstreet loose to run wild and left the middle and lower incomes avg. median household income remaining stagnant or declining for 8 yrs. while top income was the only to excell and job growth was LOUSY, avg. 2.3 % when we need at least 4% gdp growth to keep up with population, Bush did not exercise his right to veto until dems gained majority so NO legislation passed repubs did not want passed when the economy tanked.

@barsense Oh as in GM/FORD grearing yo make only for the military. Ok with the wars private companies working for the government really don’t count as private jobs. Just as federal gov. monet being spent of highways with union labor. Are not privare jobs. They are still gov. contracts. Private industry jobs make products for the private sector not for the gov…The government saying the nation needs something it doesn’t, then take tax money to pay for it, no longer makes it private.

  9. barsense says:

@MrSTANDFORAMERICA Exactly , dems have a better record for private industry growth than the repubs do, and the repubs have a record for more government expansion.

  10. MrSTANDFORAMERICA says:

@barsense As I said kid, selling pot on the corner doesn’t make you have a small business owener. or mowing the yard for your dad for $20 every two weeks either.

  11. barsense says:

@MrSTANDFORAMERICA I have been a small business owner for over 13 years, prior to that I worked in a higher paid position for a company for over 15 years until they relocated to another country, and prior to that I worked in several different industries for a few yrs. each. Just judging from the wording you use I would say I probably was working when you were still in diapers.

  12. barsense says:

@MrSTANDFORAMERICA Like I said I have lived long enough and see enough that you can not snow me, I live in a repub state and have heard that small gov,low tax load for 40 yrs or more and my state has 150 different taxes, fees, assessments and 175 state agencies of whom I have to deal with several regularly that cost me a bundle and the only thing that keeps them in check and keeps them from interfering even more is FED. Local is a pain also , permits fees for everything, no prob w/fed

@joe035 Helping teachers have decent pensions makes for better teachers. Happier teachers make for better teachers and kids learn more. It does help our kids.
I suspect the facts in this case are not as you described them.

  15. JayPhilosopher says:

@MrSTANDFORAMERICA Leaving private insurance companies to make gross profits off of sickness is not socialism, it is capitalism. Bailing out failing banks to save capitalism is not socialism, it is capitalism. No unions were bailed out, and bailing out capitalist auto makers is capitalism.
We need socialism, but until the workers can unite to produce it, we need to keep alive under capitalism.
Hugo Chavez reduced poverty in Venezuela from 75% to 25%. That is a great record.

  16. JayPhilosopher says:

@MrSTANDFORAMERICA All you Tea Party nut cases have is your fake outrage and your pretend anger. It is wearing thinner and thinner every day and you’re becoming more and more transparent to the point of becoming invisible.

  17. joe035 says:

@JayPhilosopher Hitler did the same thing. Austria was so impressed by Hitler they signed over their soveriegnty to Germany! Chavez has silenced opposing views by taking control over the media. He has bought votes much like the democrats do here with unions. It was nice for the Auto unions to get exemption from the Healthcare Bill because Obama expects there votes in return. The Bailouts at all levels were democraps & Repubs paying back favors.

  18. joe035 says:

@barsense Please refernce me your source as I have been unable to find anything that comes even close to supporting your claim!

  19. joe035 says:

@barsense Teacher unions are bankrupting this country & our performance has only been declining regardless of the dollars we invest. Charter schools on the other hand make teachers compete for their jobs & our publicly funded with far better results. To bad it takes teacher union votes to keep democrats elected or we would just switch to charter schools entirely so our kids would have a competitive chance.

  20. joe035 says:

@JayPhilosopher I’m all for teachers making a decent living if they earn it. Charter schools make teachers compete for their jobs depending on their performance. Public schools controlled by unions bleed states for more then what is reasonable & make it impossible to fire poor performers. This is important as Democrat politicians depend largely on the votes they buy from doing the unions bidding. Too bad it is at the expense of our kids.

  21. barsense says:

@joe035 Which claim would you be referring to. If it is about private industry and gov industry growth go to the BEA.

  22. lildwayne21 says:

FIRED UP AND READY TO GO!

  23. barsense says:

@joe035 Unions serve a good purpose overall, they tend to keep wages higher in non -unionized private industry. I live in a right-to-work state NO Union and wages are so low that my state has one of the largest percentages of working people living in poverty and depending on federal assistance.

  24. barsense says:

I live in a right-to-work state NO Union and wages are so low that my state has one of the largest percentages of working people living in poverty and depending on federal assistance so if you want to talk about bank rupting the union let’s talk about people who work their butts off but are not paid a living wage because their are no unions to keep wages at a more reasonable rate.

  25. theoneali says:

@barsense my comment was talking about the u.s political system in general…….its just like wrestling; in front of the public the political parties seem like foes but behind closed doors, they’re all good buddies. We the ppl dont control this country anymore. The government will do what it wants, when it wants, how it wants. What the public thinks is irrelevant. Case in point, these illegal wars.
