Is it OK now to use the word Terrorist in the Obama administration?
18 CommentsPresident Obama
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, avoided using the word "terrorist" in February, referring to acts of terrorism as "man-caused disasters" instead. On Wednesday she used the T word 23 times in 30 minutes.
Is it now OK to say the word "Terrorist" in the Obama administration?

Flip flops are the most popular footwear in the White House currently. Wait a minute – it will change again.

Was it OK to say when Scott Roeder assassinated Dr. Tiller? That was clearly a terrorist attack that also happened under Obama, right?

I guess so. Also, "man-caused disasters" is such a hassle to say. "Terrorist" is easier.

I’d love to see that word pulled from the English language because of it’s misuse in the last few years.

Maybe you should put on a flag pin and go hide again. Conservatives call anyone that doesn’t agree with them terrorists. Even those they fund!

Apparently it is when you’re trying to look tough and competent. Can’t blame this one on the Bushies.

Of course she did.
Really does not matter what you call them when they slam a plane into your office building and you have to decide whether to burn to death under your desk or jump out of an eighty story window.
How insulting, to think Americans can be appeased by some PR name for terrorism.
This administration is marketing terrorism? Putting a positive twist and a cool name on it? -

The Obama administration is a ‘reactionary’ one. They alter their agendas according to popularity polls and criticism. They also have to wait for instructions from Obama’s globalist backers to see which way to proceed – hence the long intervals between incidents and comments from Obama. It is a puppet administration and a stupid one at that. Even those who venture out without ‘teleprompting’ soon reveal themselves to be the know-nothings that they are.

OK, first of all, to the previous answer saying what he did was respectful by saying Man Caused Disaster or whatever it is. WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!?!?! Since when does anybody have to be respectful to a terrorist? Are you a fucking moron?
To answer the question, they tried to come across as a PC administration, trying to appeal to the sissy ass people who voted for them who don’t want to offend any person on the planet, including those who are insane murderers. Now, that an attempted attack has happened during his term though, he has to show that he’s "tough". So now they’ll call them terrorists, that is until bin Laden releases a video saying that he takes offense to the word terrorist, then they’ll go to something like, "A bad man whoopsidaisy."

Well, for the past few years ‘terrorist’ has been used for nearly every crazy that commits some sort of large scale crime. So I think we’re starting to move towards distinguishing between an act of terrorism and some person that is looking to cause damage.
