@bm4nu Thats a funny comment but the reality is very different. Before DDay even started the Soviets had already defeated the Nazis in Leningrad and were beginnnig a massive invasion into germany. For every american who died in ww2 55 soviets died. They would have eventually detroyed all nazis as they were pushing into Germany with millions of soldiers and actually reached Berlin before we did. About 418,500 americans died while 24 million soviets.
